JumpinGoat Coffee Roasters is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that a fresh day, and a great cup of coffee, should be within everyone’s reach.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological needs. We review our site against these standards and work to improve continually.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, our site is built with:

  • Semantic, structured HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on purely decorative ones.
  • Color contrast chosen to meet the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • A skip-to-content link so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the navigation.
  • Labeled form fields and clear, accessible buttons and controls.
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and key landmarks.
  • A declared page language and responsive layouts that work across screen sizes.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences, so animations are minimized for visitors who request it.
  • Meaning never conveyed by color alone.

Compatibility

Our site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers. It is built to be usable on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Known Limitations
