Thoughtfully Sourced
We choose single-origin beans from growers around the world, with an eye toward quality, fair partnership, and crops we can trace back to where they grew.

Our Story
Small-batch coffee, a curious goat, and a family that fell in love with the roast. This is how JumpinGoat came to be.
The Legend
As the story goes, coffee was discovered by an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi who noticed his goats grew lively after nibbling the bright red cherries of a certain shrub.
The goats danced. Kaldi was curious. Centuries later, the world cannot start a morning without the drink those cherries became. We named ourselves after that first jumpin’ goat because we believe great coffee should still make you feel a little more alive.
The Roasters
JumpinGoat is a family-run roastery rooted in the hills around Cleveland and Helen. What began as a love of a good cup became a craft, and then a calling.
We roast in small batches so we can taste every step, dialing each origin in until it sings. Nothing sits on a shelf for months. The coffee you carry out the door was very likely roasted that same week, just steps from where you bought it.
Two tasting rooms, one obsession: coffee worth slowing down for, served by people who genuinely love it.
How We Source
Great coffee is grown long before it is roasted. We seek out beans we are proud to put our name on, then treat them with the patience they deserve.
We choose single-origin beans from growers around the world, with an eye toward quality, fair partnership, and crops we can trace back to where they grew.
Small batches mean we can taste and adjust constantly. Each origin is roasted to bring out its best, never to a one-size-fits-all profile.
We fill bags fresh and sell close to the roast date. The difference between weeks-old and days-old coffee is the difference you taste in every cup.
More Than Coffee
Our tasting rooms are gathering places. Beyond the espresso bar you will find locally loved mead and wine, ready to pour for a flight, a celebration, or an easy afternoon.
It is all part of the same idea: give people a beautiful room, something delicious in the cup, and a reason to stay a while.
